October 2026 photo dump

Here are some of the better photos taken using the Kodak VISION3 500T colour film. I picked this stock up from the same lab I got the Double-X, and while I really liked Double-X, I'm not as keen on this emulsion.

I typically favour black and white but thought I'd give an old colour film a try. VISION 3 is a high-speed, tungsten-balanced colour negative motion picture film. It has a rem-jet carbon backing layer (which needs to be scraped off) and requires ECN-2 chemistry to develop. This meant development took a few extra weeks.

This film is tungsten-balanced too and a filter is recommended outside. I had no filter and was keen to see what weird effects might emerge. Ultimately you get a washed out old fashioned looking photo which is kind of interesting but it's not a film stock I'll use again.
